The magic word in advertising your RSS feed or RSS feed marketing is "ping". What is "ping"? Ping is a procedure for letting websites know that the content in your blog or RSS feed is up and running, or has been updated. You need to ping RSS aggregators to inform them of the existence of your new RSS feed or, if your RSS feed is already online, that the information in your feed has been updated.
