Apache Server
How to install Apache Server on Windows
The Apache web server is an open source project and available for download free of charge. To download a current version of the Apache web server go to: http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi1. Donwload Apache server and run the installation file
2. When you are being asked for your domain name and server name enter 'localhost' if you are installing Apache on your home PC. (for example on Windows XP or Windows Vista)3. After you have finished installing Apache web server on your PC, Apache will start up automatically by default. To change the default setting to "manual startup" go to: Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services
